This war memorial is a polished stone monument in the shape of a headstone. It is decorated with naming and dedication plaques and the insignias of the three Australian military services. It was unveiled on 20 June 2015 by Ronald H. Brown OAM, who was assisted by Anthony Michael. The dedication was performed by Reverend D. Henry C. Martin. The memorial is located on the eastern side of the entrance to Inverell and District Memorial Olympic Pool.
