The Fernleigh Second World War Honour Roll is a polished timber board, with turned columns on each side. The top of the board is decorated with paintings of four Australian flags and a shield. The names of 18 servicemen and women from the district who served in the war are printed in alphabetical order in the centre of the board. Two names are marked with a star, indicating they were killed in action. The roll was unveiled on 23 July 1947 at the Fernleigh Hall. The ceremony was described in the Northern Star on 29 July. The occassion was presided over by Mr K. Kirkland and included a concert. Following Mr Kirkland's address, Mr J. J. Priddle, a First World War veteran, and Mr P. Daley, a Second World War veteran, unveiled the roll. At a later date, the roll was moved to the Fernleigh Public School. Access to view it is restricted, as it is within school grounds.
