The memorial is a concrete wall, which is fully faced with white tiles. It is positioned in front of a flagpole, in the front garden of the Murwillumbah Services Memorial Club. There are several bronze plaques attached to the wall, dedicated in honour of conflicts and peacekeeping missions in which Australia has been involved. Some of the plaques also include the emblems of the Australian Commonwealth Horse, the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Australian Imperial Force, the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), Australia Commonwealth Military Forces, the Returned & Services League Australia, and the Australian flag. The memorial was dedicated by Father Anthony Lemon of the Sacred Heart Parish on 11 December 2017.
