The memorial consists of two walls, which face each other. One is made of stone and the other of brick. The stone wall bears a plaque with The Ode on it. The brick wall contains multiple small plaques with veterans names, commemorating those who have passed away in the area. Behind the walls are a flagpole with cross bar, with a ship's anchor at its base. On one side of the memorial is a plane's propeller and on the other side is the Sussex Inlet RSL Second World War Artillery Gun.
