
The Museum of the 1st/15th Royal NSW Lancers, located at the historic Lancer Barracks in Parramatta, preserves the proud heritage of Australia’s oldest surviving regiment. The museum traces the unit’s history from its early role in the Boer War through World War I, World War II, and its continuing service in the modern Australian Army. Exhibits include uniforms, weapons, military communications equipment, vehicles, photographs, and personal stories that highlight the regiment’s evolution, operations, and the experiences of the soldiers who served.
