The memorial consists of a concrete obelisk, on which four marble tablets are attached. The inscription and the names of the fallen from the First World War are inscribed in black lettering on the tablets. The obelisk is surrounded by a cement post and rail fence and there is also a flagpole at the site. The memorial is adjacent to the Copmanhurst War Memorial Hall.
