The Dorrigo War Memorial is a brown stone pillar surmounted by a white stone statue of a soldier, facing east. The names of First World War veterans are carved into the sides of the pillar and coloured gold. Originally established in 1921, dedication and honour roll plaques for those who served in the Second World War have been added at a later date. These plaques are attached to the original stonework. The monument is surrounded by a small garden with ground lighting to illuminate the memorial at night. It forms a roundabout in the centre of the Waterfall Way and Hickory Street intersection. The memorial was rededicated by the Dorrigo community on 25 April 1998. It has since suffered considerable damage in a car accident on 14 May 2020.
