This memorial mural depicts Clarence Jeffries and William Currey, ex-students from Dudley Public School who served in the First World War. Between the two figures is a depiction of a Victoria Cross. The mural is approximately 3 metres by 1 metre in size. The painting was done mostly by school students. The mural is located in the quadrangle of the school, in the south-west corner, on a concrete facade between the ground floor and first floor. It is part of a painted timeline. The segment in which the Jeffries-Currey mural is positioned was started in 1976 and completed by 1986. The idea for the timeline came from Ken Shilling, a teacher at the school in 1976. It was completed in 1986, after he had left the school, by Mrs Ardel Prout. Jeffries and Currey are also commemorated through the Jeffries and Currey Memorial Library.
