The Quirindi Post-Second World War Memorial consists of a stone Latin cross and seven stone pillars, which are arranged in a semi-circle around the cross. Attached to the cross are four bronze plaques, bearing the emblems of the Australian Army, Royal Australian Navy, Royal Australian Air Force, and National Servicemen's Association. A further eight bronze plaques are attached to the pillars, inscribed with the names of post-Second World conflicts and peacekeeping missions in which Australia has been involved. Also commemorated are the Women's Royal Australian Naval Service (WRANS), Women's Royal Australian Army Corps (WRAAC), Women's Royal Australian Air Force (WRAAF), and veterans who served under the National Service scheme. Quirindi Liverpool Plains Shire Council received a 'Saluting Their Service Grant' on 5 November 2010, to assist with creating the memorial. It was dedicated in 2011. The memorial is located in Anzac Square, a public park in the Quirindi town centre. Various commemorative services are held there throughout the year.
