This stained cedar roll of honour has a decorative pediment at the top, featuring carvings of the Rising Sun emblem, Eucalyptus branches and the square and compasses of the Masonic order. It lists the names of 18 Brothers of Guyra's United Grand Lodge (UGL) No. 325 who served in the war. Their names are printed neatly in gold down the centre panel of the board. The names of two Brothers who lost their lives are at the top of the list. The remaining names are listed in order of enlistment. The unveiling and dedication dates of the roll are unknown. However, as it gives the end of date of 1919, it suggests the memorial was completed after the war rather than during. Do you know more about this war memorial?
