The Greta War Memorial is a tapered sandstone column, standing approximately 3 metres high. The faces of the column have multiple plaques attached, including honour rolls for the First and Second World Wars. The main face is orientated to the north-west, at the top of which is a marble shield with an engraved crown and two crossed rifles. The memorial is surrounded by a low metal fence and small garden. The Greta Wall of Remembrance is located nearby. Anzac Day commemorative services take place on site.
