Golden Cypress tree lined pathway commencing at the corner of Barkala Street and Dalmeny Drive, Dalmeny NSW (GPS location 150:7:52:43E/36:10:33:79S) and adjacent to the Pathway Memorial Stone at Kianga Beach, NSW (GPS location 9150:7:54E/36:11:18:46S). The trees were planted in 1971 and have a special connotation for the local people who wish the trees to be officially recognised as a memorial to the men and women who served in the First World War. On the 2km pathway, there are currently 84 trees left of the original 119 planted in 1971. A plinth with plaque attached has been added at a later date to dedicate the memorial.
