St Lawrence's Catholic Church, Coonabarabran, was dedicated on 13 November 1966 as a memorial to those who have served and died in defence of Australia. The church is a large brick and tiled structure with a high gabled roof. Large timber doors stand at the front entrance below a white portico with a high stained glass window above decorated with a stylised 'tree of life'. On either side of the front entrance are small gardens. A plaque at the front of the church contains the memorial dedication.
