These memorial gardens are dedicated to those who served in the Second World War. The gardens have a spectacular view over the Pacific Ocean and contain a rock cairn and flagpole. The cairn was dedicated on 25 April 1990. Behind these is a semi-circle of brick walls upon which are mounted personalised brass plaques commemorating later deaths of servicemen and women placed there by their relatives. The gardens were dedicated on 12 August 1995.
