Located outside the Ballina Naval and Maritime Museum is this memorial garden, dedicated to those who served in the First World War. It is planted out with rosemary and other small shrubs and includes a flagpole. Positioned within the garden beds are various metal plaques, attached to timber posts. Inscribed on the plaques are the war service details of veterans with a connection to Ballina. The plaques also include information about the veteran's next of kin, which was often their parents or a sibling.
