This brick memorial wall is set in front of the old St Joseph's Catholic Church in Uralla, NSW, which is the former convent and St Joseph's Primary School. The wall is a series of proportioned and equally distributed piers, with sunken brick panels featuring moulded bricks of various colours, ranging from yellow to dark brown. Each of the two main piers for the entrance gate has a white marble panel bearing the names of the those who fell. It was designed by the Inverell architect, J. F. O'Connor and was dedicated on 25 April 1927.
