A planting of 50 trees on a nature strip in honour of the Second World War, marked with a coloured sign bearing the words 'Remembrance Grove'. There are also four bushrocks with brass plaques attached, including honour rolls and dedications. One rock is surrounded by a brick paved area and is accompanied by a flagpole. A time capsule is buried underneath. The grove is located near the Gunnedah Museum on South Street. Note on veteran's name: The inscription for Joseph H Appleby is given on the memorial as Joseph H Applebee.
