The memorial is a timber honour roll, for those from Emmaville and districts who served in the Second World War, Korea, and Vietnam. It is a long, rectangular board, with a decoratively curved outline on the top and bottom edges. The names are printed in gold, in alphabetical order, in the centre of the board. There are seven columns of names for the Second World War and two names each for Korea and Vietnam. This roll is similar to an older one, which is on display at the nearby Emmaville Mining Museum. It is listed separately on the NSW War Memorials Register as the Emmaville & District Second World War, Korea and Vietnam Roll of Honour. Most of the veterans listed on this roll also appear on the older roll. Access to the memorial is restricted to the opening hours of the Emmaville War Memorial Hall.
