The memorial is a four sided sandstone monument mounted on two steps that commemorates all conflicts and peacekeeping missions involving Australian service personnel. Brass plaques inscribed with the areas of conflict are mounted on three sides of the memorial. The brass emblems of the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army Forces, Royal Australian Air Force, Australian Nurses and Merchant Navy are positioned in a row on the wall behind the memorial. The memorial was unveiled on 25 March 2015, by the Hon Garry Edwards MP, Member for Swansea. This memorial replaced the previous memorial at the RSL club which was installed in 2005, and was removed and donated to Northlakes High School. On display outside the RSL Club is a a 25 Pounder Gun MK11, obtained by the Doyalson Wyee RSL sub-Branch in 1975.
