A row of sugar gum trees planted each side of Barwan Street, between Doyle and Dewhurst Streets, to commemorate those who served and fell in the First World War. In the mid to late 1990s the trees originally planted in the 1920s were removed by council due to their deteriorating health and due to problems with overhead powerlines. More suitable trees were planted in their place. A 900mm high stone sits in the nearby car park, bearing a plaque.
