Ashford Central School Memorial Wall

This war memorial is a wall located on the grounds of Ashford Central School in Ashford, NSW. It is constructed from concrete blocks and is topped with a gabled 'roof', which is made of timber. The Australian Rising Sun emblem appears high on the front of the roof. Directly below this are the words 'Lest we forget', attached in gold letters.  The wall is positioned in a garden bed, which is planted out with rosemary bushes and also includes stepping-stone pavers.  The memorial was donated by an Inverell family. Access to it is restricted as it is within school grounds. Also on site is the Ashford Central School Lone Pine.
