To effectively support you, we provide a wellbeing assessment that is based on the 7 elements of wellbeing. Their highly trained team can assist with: • Social Support & Connection • Recognition & Respect • Income & Finance • Education & Skills • Employment • Housing • Health DVA Claims & Advocacy They will help you get the best outcome for your situation. They understand the process for lodging claims with Department of Veterans’ Affairs can often be time consuming and stressful. It’s also an important part of ensuring you are set up for life after service, and also provides a sense of recognition and respect for the contribution you made during your service. Employment Assistance The RSL Employment Program can assist in finding the right role for you, giving you purpose and direction. If you’re a veteran or the partner of a current or former Australian Defence Force member, we can help you take the next step towards finding meaningful employment. Together with RSL Queensland, we are dedicated to helping you find your next role. This program is available nationally, and delivered in partnership by RSL LifeCare and RSL Queensland. This tailored program is free, and available online or over the phone. Whether you’re currently transitioning or have been out of the Australian Defence Force for a while, their highly trained team will work with you to determine how they can best support your search for employment. Transitioning from military to civilian life brings unique challenges. Our dedicated team is committed to guiding Australian Defence Force veterans and partners to discover fulfilling employment opportunities and their next career step. Homelessness & Housing Support Are you experiencing or at risk of homelessness? They provide homelessness and housing support for veterans and families who need help. Whether you need to access safe and secure long-term accommodation, secure your existing accommodation or transfer to a more stable home environment, we can work with you to help you live sustainably in your chosen community. Financial Assistance Help paying rental bills or bond payments. They can help eligible veterans by applying for assistance for rental bills or bonds through suitable sources. Support with rental arrears repayments and essential items assistance. In necessitous circumstances, we can also help with rental arrears payments or assistance to purchase essential household appliances. Spur Ranch Equine Program The Spur Ranch Equine Program has been developed with wellbeing and recovery as core elements and the team are committed to helping participants enjoy and challenge themselves. • Designed by veterans for veterans to promote wellbeing and recovery • Have fun and challenge yourself • Enjoy social connection and interaction with other attendees • Located at Spur Ranch, Picton (co-located at RSL LifeCare’s John Goodlet Manor)
