This Lone Pine is located in Kurri Kurri's Rotary Park, adjacent to the Kurri Kurri War Memorial. It was donated and planted in 2015, in honour of those who served in the First World War. It is accompanied by two plaques: one inscribed with a brief history of the Battle for Lone Pine and the other with an acknowledgement of the donor. The tree's base is surrounded by sandstone-block edging and its trunk is protected by a timber tree guard.
