Squadron Leader John Holt and Flight Lieutenant Adam Noordink Memorial

This bushrock memorial is made of polished red granite. Attached to its front face is a plaque dedicated to Squadron Leader John Holt and Flight Lieutenant Adam Noordink, who were killed after their aircraft was involved in a bird-strike incident on 29 September 1977. They were flying from the Amberley RAAF base to the Evans Head Air Weapons range. The memorial is located in the Evans Head War Cemetery. Various commemorative services have been held at the cemetery since its opening.
