This marble memorial plaque commemorates John Campbell of 'Kilgin' who died at the Dardenelles on 28 June 1915, aged 29 years. As a trooper in the 7th Australian Light Horse Regiment, he was killed in action on 28 June 1915 at Gallipoli in the Dardenelles, Turkey. He was buried in the Shell Green Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey. The memorial tablet is located in the Woodburn Op-Shop, formerly St Alban's Anglican Church. The church was consecrated on 17 December 1961 and closed in 2010. It then re-opened as an opportunity shop in August 2010.
