The roll of honour is made of paper and set within a glass and timber frame. The painted design at the top of the page featuring the eye, flags and female figures is typical of other rolls from branches of the Grand United Order of Oddfellows in New South Wales. The memorial was designed by the Order and Mr Tyler of the Wingham Superior Public School completed the handwriting of names on the roll. The Wingham branch of the Order unveiled the roll in the Wingham Oddfellows' Hall on Tuesday 20 February 1917. The unveiling was performed by Miss Mary Richardson and the ceremony was covered in detail on 23 February in The Wingham Chronicle and Manning River Observer. The roll is now located in the Wingham Museum, also known as the Manning Valley Historical Society Museum. Access to the memorial is restricted to the opening hours of the museum.
