These war memorial gates consist of two sandstone pillars, faced with polished stone honour rolls listing First World War veterans. They were dedicated on 23 February 1924 and are located in Connolly Park in Carrington, NSW. Attached at the bottom of the front face of the right-hand side pillar is a plaque dedicated to Brigadier Sir Frederick Galleghan (also known as 'Black Jack'), who saw service in the First and Second World Wars.
