This war memorial is a white marble honour roll for the Second World War. The centre of the roll has been shaped to resemble a scroll. The names of 50 servicemen and women who served in the war are incised on the scroll, and the letters blackened. The scroll is suspended from a decorative rope, also sculpted from the marble. The origins of this roll are unknown. It was previously located in the Bellbird Community Centre in Bellbird, NSW. The building was demolished and the roll was moved to the Cessnock RSL sub-Branch Hall in Cessnock, NSW. It hangs alongside the Cessnock RSL sub-Branch Hall First World War Honour Roll. Access to view the memorial is available by appointment/tour.
