Leeton Army Cadet Brigade

Leeton (223 ACU) is an Army Cadet Unit of the NSW Australian Army Cadet Brigade, based in Leeton. The unit parades each Thursday from 18:30 to 21:30. The NSW Australian Army Cadet Brigade has more than 3,000 cadets in six battalions, with 60 Army Cadet Units across major towns in NSW. Cadet units support their local RSL sub-branches at commemorative events such as ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day, providing catafalque parties, the cadet band and volunteers. The Army Cadet Staff who supervise cadets are adult volunteers and are often veterans themselves, and many cadets are the children or grandchildren of veterans.
