This is a stone memorial in memory of the 2/14 Australian Infantry Battalion. Originally formed in Victoria the battalion was later joined by Queenslanders and trained in the Blackall Ranges. The stone is surrounded by garden beds, with a stone pathway, sign and flagpole between the memorial and the road. Additional Information On 6 August 2017 a rededication of the memorial was held at the site, which had been repaired and restored due to the efforts of Helen Cook of the Yandina/Eumundi RSL Sub Branch. A new sign and flagpole were added, and the gardens were expanded. School captains from the local primary school were the guest speakers and the service was attended by the local federal MP; local council representative; local and district RSL presidents; school staff; 2/14 Assn. members, and local residents.
