Apple Tree Creek War Memorial (Digger)

Sandstone obelisk with carving of crossed flagson stepped base. Four marble Rolls of Honour inserted in centre of each face. The 'Digger' statue has been replaced on the top of the memorial and the commemoration has been restored to its former glory. Additional Information The original Digger by A L Petrie & Son, Toowong, was vandalised and replaced by obelisk. New Digger erected 18 August 1999 and unveiled by Hon Bruce Scott.
