Additional Information The memorial is complemented by three other memorials in the Stewart Place memorial precinct. The other memorials are: 61st Battalion Queensland Cameron Highlanders Memorial Shelter Ashgrove Stewart Place Gallipoli Pine Ashgrove Stewart Place Field Gun The memorial has undergone several minor renovations over the past decades whcih include replacement of the lamp atop the obelisk and the current redevelopment of the surroundinglandscaping. In 2009 the AshgroveWar Memorial was restored and cleaned due to a partnership betweenAshgrove RSL and the Queensland Government, with a Community Memorials Restoration grant assisting to finance the restoration of the memorial. The 61st Battalion Queensland Cameron Highlanders Memorial Shelter and information panels were also added as part of this project. The entire space is administered by the Ashgrove RSL Sub-Branch.
