Three timber honour boards are located on the wall of the supper room of the Blackall Cultural Centre. The First and Second World War Honour Boards are of a similar design. Additional Information The First World War Honour Board was unveiled in the Town Hall by the Governor General, Lord Forster, and Lady Forster, in August 1922. At this time the Honour Board listed 312 names, in alphabetical order, of those who served, with Nurse Greta Towner at the end. Since 1936, when the roll was published in Barcaldine’s Western Champion newspaper, three more names have been added.
