Erected by the Ladies Auxiliary, Blackwater RSL, and unveiled by Major General A L Morrison on 26 January 1985. This memorial consists of three white columns with top plinth. There is a central column that supports an up-turns rifle and helmet, signifying the battlefield grave of a dead serviceman. The memorial displays badges of the Armed Forces and all columns are symbolically linked by chains. Additional Information Each Anzac Day candles are lit to symbolise countries in which Australian soldiers have died.
