Ornate brick and sandstone octagonal building with stained glass windows high on all sides. The Library sits in the grounds of the grammar school and is an historical landmark. The Library contains many important and commemorative stained glass windows, to past pupils who died during war. Additional Information The granite foundation stone was laid on Anzac Day 1923 by the Governor of Queensland Sir Matthew Nathan. The library opened in 1924. It has not been used as a library for many years and now contains the school's special memorabilia display.
