Additional Information RAAF Canberra bomber unveiled by Group Commander Arthur Barnes DFC AFC RAAF Retired on 28 February 1987 to commemorate the service of the Canberra Bomber in the RAAF and the men who flew this aircraft from 1953-1985. RAAF Canberra bombers were based in Australia, Malaysia, New Guinea, and were also used in bombing missions in the Vietnam conflict.
