Clayfield-Toombul RSL War Memorial

A large 'hornfels' rock in vertical orientation, located outside the sub branch. The rock displays a bronze plaque dedicated to those who gave their lives in the service of Australia since the nation began. Additional Information The memorial was unveiled and dedicated on 18 March 2008, together with a 9 metre flagpole. The project was funded by grants from the Department of Veterans' Affairs and contributions by the Brisbane North RSL District and the Clayfield-Toombul RSL Sub-Branch. It was designed and finished by the Sub branch Secretary, R.H. (Bill) Best.
