A 'Ulam' marble draped obelisk with crossed rifles on a typical Petrie base. The monument is set in the centre of the main street, Clermont Street, opposite the railway station. Set on a concrete base, which has been painted green, it possesses a low concrete wall to protect it from traffic turning. Dedicated in 1924. Additional Information Mason: A L Petrie & Son, Brisbane.
