Glen Aplin 1939–1945 Honour Board

A silky oak timber Honour Board, located within the Glen Aplin Memorial Hall. The memorial lists the names of 75 individuals from the Glen Aplin District, including 8 'Fallen' who made the supreme sacrifice. In addition, there are seven female service personnel commemorated, recognising the important and significant role that women fulfilled during the Second World War. Many of the names are similar and indicate the presence of known relations from local families.
