The silver domed band rotunda set in a large park, with steps leading up from a Stone of Remembrance. This is a replica of the Imperial War Graves stone designed by Sir Edwin Lutyns and is rarely seen apart from official war graves. It is painted white and set on a stepped red painted concrete base. Around the frieze of the band rotunda are the names: Gallipoli, France, Cocos Islands, Egypt, New Guinea, Sinai and Belgium, with Gallipoli being over the main red steps. Additional Information Sir Thomas William Glasgow dedicated the memorial on 29 June 1932. The RSL, Lions Club and Kingaroy Shire Council added paving and a flagpole in 1994. The park has extensive flower gardens and paved paths and amenities which also have disabled access.
