Silky oak Honour Board that hangs within the Maryborough Military and Colonial Museum. The lettering on the board is completed in relief also using silky oak timber. The names listed represent those from the Maryborough region who served in the Boer War. There are 36 names recorded and it is interesting to note the many names of European origin and the related individuals. Additional Information The Maryborough Military and Colonial Museum is one of Australia's best privately owned museums and is responsible for the preservation and continuation of a great deal of Queensland's Colonial and Military heritage.
