Timber Honour Board commemorating the service of local individuals from the McGregor Creek district in WWII. Of the 58 sevice personnel listed, 4 were Killed in Action during the war. A framed photograph is displayed in the hall of each of these servicemen who paid the supreme sacrifice. A smaller and simpler wooden plaque below the WWII Honour Board commemorates the two local service personnel who served in the Vietnam War, 1962–1972. Additional Information The 1939-1946 honour board had suffered minor vandalism in the past. Two ornamental lances mounted vertically on each side of the board have been removed and the whereabouts of the lances is unknown. Four framed photographs of servicemen killed in action are mounted beside the honour board.
