WWI Timber Honour Board lists 40 soldiers and l Nurse, of whom 6 were killed, 14 were wounded, and 1 was a prisoner-of-war. Under this Roll of Honour is a plaque honouring Charles Cooke, 1899–1902, who was the bodyguard of Lord Roberts who relieved Mafeking on 17 May 1900. Additional Information Pilton Memorial Hall is the first Memorial Hall in Australia, Erected 1919; opened 2 January 1920.
