Memorial based on the same design of the original Tobruk Cemetery Memorial, constructed by the Australian Engineers in Libya at the end of the siege of Tobruk. The siege occured between 10 April 1941 and mid-December of the same year. Additional Information Other similar memorials exist at Mackay and Bundaberg.
