The broken column with laurel wreath around the top and an Australian Commonwealth Military Forces badge at the base. The column is supported by four carved pillars, supported by a sandstone base on a large block of concrete. The Memorial Park is opposite the Post Office, at the end of the main street, and the road circles the Park. There is a flagpole to the right of the memorial. Additional Information The base was replastered and all the plaques were removed prior to Anzac Day 1994, being replaced by dark marble plaques with dark lettering. At the same time a new plaque was added honouring those who served in South East Asia. Established 25 April 1924.
