A large sandstone boulder set into a paved commemorative precinct, and displaying a large dedication plaque in recognition of the use of Yeronga Park by the Armed Forces of the United States of America during the Second World War. A smaller donation plaque is inserted into the front of the stone. The plaques and memorial were installed by the American Legion. Additional Information The Yernga Memorial Park was known as 'CAMP YERONGA' during the Second World War. Little evidence of the occupation survives.
