Additional Information 'On Sunday, 26 April 2015, His Grace Bishop Irinej, celebrated the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy with the concelebration of the Very Reverend Fathers Jovan Vesic and Velibor Bojicic, the Reverend Father Nikola Stefanov and Protodeacon Petar Mrakic. Following the celebration of the Hierarchical Liturgy, an ANZAC Memorial was blessed and Park dedicated in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Gallipoli. The Honourable Bernie Ripoll Federal MP and Senator Clair Moore, who together unveiled the monument, Mr Serge Voleshenko from Queensland Ethnic Community Council, Shan Ju from World Harmony Society and Constantin Drozdovski from the Russian Community joined in the manifestation. The memorial is dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the ANZAC nations and Serbia, as well as the wartime alliance between Australia, New Zealand and Serbia. Park funded with a grant from the ANZAC Centenary Grants program. 'The central, main and first element to the Memorial is the Holy Cross to honour the fallen Anzac[s]. This Holy Cross is central to our Parishioners and other Christian's way of sacred connection, through prayer and memory to all Anzac[s] from Queensland and all other States and Territories and New Zealand… The secondary element to the Memorial is the Granite Memorial which signifies our Church['s] thanks to the fallen Anzac[s], linking to the Cross, who passed away in the earthly life, but are living to eternity.
