The Mareeba Sub Branch is part of the Far Northern District of RSL Queensland. Mareeba RSL Sub Branch offers a warm welcome to veterans, service personnel and social non-league members in the Mareeba area. Our Annual General Meeting is held on the third Saturday in March. General Meetings are held on the third Saturday every second month, commencing in January. History The Mareeba Sub Branch was granted RSL charter in 1936 and has provided assistance to veterans since then. Our purpose is to provide assistance, camaraderie, and advocacy information to veterans. We show remembrance for the fallen, respect for our ex-service men and women, and pride for those who serve today. Commemorative Days ANZAC Day Vietnam Veterans’ Day Remembrance Day Services Offered We help with information on assistance for the following: Advocacy Homelessness Hardship We also keep members up-to-date and informed on DVA matters, community news, and other relevant information.
