The Gemfields Sub Branch is part of the Central Queensland District of RSL Queensland. The RSL was established for the principal purpose of promoting the interests and welfare of former and serving members of the ADF and their dependants. The committee and members extend a warm welcome to veteran’s and social members in the Gemfields local area. Join us and see what can be accomplished when you get a passionate team of volunteers who focus on upgrading our facilities. This is “Our House” and we are committed to ensuring the health & wellbeing of the RSL and our members during our watch. Our Executive Board is comprised of a President (must be an ex-service person), Deputy President, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and Assistant Treasurer. The Board is elected by the membership annually at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Veterans retreat The Gemfields RSL Sub Branch Inc offers a unique camping experience in the heart of Queensland’s Central Highlands Gemfields. Camping is open to all veterans, serving members, first responders and their families. Facilities include a large and updated camp kitchen, amenities block, powered outdoor stage for live entertainment, powered and unpowered camping sites. The Retreat is open all year round.
