Geelong Legacy

Geelong Legacy is dedicated to caring for the families of veterans’ who have lost their life or health in service to our country, in keeping with the request, “look after the missus and the kids” made by a dying digger in World War 1. A promise Legacy maintains to the present day. Legacy is a voluntary organisation and is dedicated to caring for the families of deceased and incapacitated veterans, providing caring and compassionate service to widow(er)s and children and dependants with a disability. Legacy is supported by veterans, servicemen and women, and volunteers drawn from all walks of life. Our support and services now extend to include the dependants of members of today’s Australian Defence Force who lose their lives as a result of their military service.
